Gomez called the actor on October 24 while he was in line to vote early in New York and he used the opportunity to encourage their followers to get out and cast their ballots. “I really hope this guy loses….oh, man. I think in New York we’re safe, victory-wise,” Chalamet said, referring to President Donald Trump, to which Gomez responded, “My stomach hurts because I’m nervous.”

You’ve been all over this stuff,” he said, referring to Gomez’s commitment to getting out the vote. “I know it’s making a difference.”
