“Come & Get It,” she did! The reason for Selena Gomez‘s Apr. 18 trip to Norway was indeed to see her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, two sources confirm to Us Weekly. The Spring Breakers actress touched down in the country’s capital, Oslo, shortly before the Canadian crooner began his concert at the Telenor Arena.
When Bieber left the stage that night, Gomez was waiting backstage. “They have a crazy connection,” a source explains. “They just can’t seem to break their connection. It can be intense.”
The couple, who split several times in 2012, most recently called it quits just before New Year’s Eve. Gomez, 20, and Bieber, 19, were vacationing in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and had “another huge fight,” an insider told Us at the time. “Selena won’t forgive him.” Another source added that Bieber was “really down about the breakup.”
Whether Bieber and Gomez decide to give their romance another shot remains to be seen. But Bieber — who’s been plagued by bad press since his December breakup — recently told Us he’s focused on his career for now. “I’m thinking about my next album, next tour. Or maybe I’ll take a break,” he said. “I’m figuring it out. Isn’t that what you’re supposed to do at 19?”
