Since launching her Rare Beauty earlier this year, Selena Gomez has already shared some of her best makeup tips and favorite products. Now, she’s showing off her everyday, go-to makeup routine for fans who want to replicate her signature fresh-faced look.
Selena just shared a new video on Rare Beauty’s YouTube channel, giving fans a peek into her “Get Ready with Me” routine, showing off a look she created while filming her upcoming HBO cooking show, Selena & Chef.
“Doing my own makeup was so hard for so many years because I’ve had the pleasure of working with really great makeup artists. It’s something that I’m not very, very good at it, but it’s something that I have learned, and I wanted to create a line for people like me,” Selena shared as she dots her face with Rare Beauty’s Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation. “Obviously during quarantine, I have to do my own hair and makeup, which is a challenge.”
As opposed to her fingers or a sponge, Sel blends her foundation with a brush, sharing that the reason she likes using the “dot system” is because the product is really light. Selena then adds more dots of concealer under her eyes and around her nose, and blends that in with the same brush.

“Doing my makeup for the show is very scary, just because I get so comfortable with working with people and trusting that they know what will look good, but it’s quarantine,” Selena said while applying dots of the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Grace to the apples of her cheeks. She filled in her brows with Brow Harmony Pencil & Gel in Cool Brown, then was briefly interrupted by her papa, who gave her a quick hug.

After applying a precise cat-eye with Perfect Strokes Liquid Liner, Selena applied her favorite bright red lip, Lip Soufflé Matte Lip Cream in Inspire, and finished off the pretty, simple look with Positive Light Liquid Luminizer in Enchant on the high points of her face. Voila! A Selena-approved look you can do in just a few minutes.
