Selena Gomez Discusses Body Shaming, Paparazzi Harassment, New Album & More!

Selena Gomez stopped by #TheCruzShow this morning to discuss her new album Revival and exposed how much of an emotional roller coaster she went through while creating the album. Selena is no stranger to having all eyes on her and explained that, “Everyone’s had a say in my life…it was really frustrating.” The 23-year-old singer is stepping into her own as an artist and went on to say that with her new record label and this album, “It was a time to explore who I am. That’s why we called [the album] revival.”

Selena had a lot to say about the body shaming she’s experienced this past year and the paparazzi whom she describes as “invasive, violating, unjust and disgusting.” She also touched on the provocative album cover which features a topless Selena, who thinks it will be irrelevant once the album drops, saying, “The music is going to take over because that’s how confident I am about it.” Be sure to get the album, out October 9th.
