The Only Murders in the Building star took to Twitter on Monday (Oct. 4) to announce that she and the English rock band have combined forces on the new song “Let Somebody Go.”

Gomez posted a visual to share the news with her followers, which featured a re-imagined, technicolor version of planet Earth rotating in space, surrounded by dozens of stars. The brief video also gave fans a sneak peek of the track, on which the “Lose You to Love Me” singer and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin sing, “When I called the mathematicians and I asked them to explain/ They said love is only equal to the pain” over a sweeping pop instrumental background.

The debut marked the K-pop group’s first appearance on the rock and alternative charts.

Coldplay later announced they’ll be doign a week-long residency on The Late Late Show With James Corden from Oct. 18 to Oct. 21 in support of Music for Spheres, where they will debut “Let Somebody Go” with Gomez as well as a special performance of “Human Heart” with We Are KING and Jacob Collier.
