American singer and former Disney star Selena Gomez will visit the Philippines in January next year to stage a one-night concert in Quezon City.
The 22-year-old “Love You Like a Love Song” hitmaker will perform at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on January 29 as part of her “Stars Dance” concert series, which kicked of in August, with performances scheduled until end of February 2014.
The tour’s Philippine stop — one of three in Asia — was announced Friday on Gomez’s official website, after local promoter Wilbros Live shared the news on its Facebook page early this week.
Tickets to the concert, which will go on sale Saturday via TicketNet’s website, are priced at P7,920 (patron), P5,810 (patron side), P5,280 (lower box), P3,700 (upper box A), P1,850 (upper box B), and P795 (general admission).
Gomez, who rose to fame in 2007 with appearances on several Disney TV series, released three studio albums with the band Selena Gomez & the Scene from 2009 to 2011.
She launched her solo music career this year with the album “Stars Dance,” which has so far produced the hits “Come and Get It” and “Slow Down.”
