Selena Gomez has taken on a very adult role in new film Spring Breakers.
The movie features sex, drugs and violence, but former Disney starlet Selena isn’t ready to go off the rails in real life.
‘I’m not even a big party girl who wants to stay out until six in the morning,’ says the 20-year-old.
‘I have a natural instinct not to go overboard.
‘That’s not because I’m worried about bad publicity but just because I think you can have a good time and not lose control, just because some people might like to do that.’
Selena, who split from boyfriend Justin Bieber earlier this year, does believe it’s important for everyone to test their boundaries, though.
‘People need to decide for themselves how far to test their limits and make up their minds,’ the actress tells The Sun.
‘We all make mistakes and we have to learn from them, and that’s what growing up is all about.’
